Postal took on ACMillin Academy in this Division 1 clash at Webster. AC Millin have been on a great run in the league and had a successful season in Division 2 last year so a hard encounter was expected.

Postal started brightly after kicking off, looking to move the ball forward quickly and put the AcMillin defence under pressure.
The visitors had the first opportunity of the afternoon in the 5th minute when they won a corner. The delivery caused some concern in the Postal penalty area, but the resulting header was sent over the crossbar.
Postal responded almost immediately. In the 7th minute, a throw-in found Phil Wallace, who turned well and created room for a left-footed effort, but his shot drifted wide of the target.
Ac Millin tried their luck from distance a minute later, sending a long-range effort well over the bar, before Postal began to enjoy more possession in attacking areas.
In the 10th minute, Fletcher Stewart cut inside from his position and got a shot away, but his effort was blocked by a crowded Ac Millin defence.
Just a minute later, Macauley produced a sharp snap-shot from inside the attacking area, only to see his effort fly narrowly over the crossbar.
Postal continued to threaten, and in the 12th minute keeper Graham played an excellent long ball forward. Clark showed good control to bring it down before laying the ball back to Wallace, whose effort went wide.
A minute later, Steele picked out MacAuley with a well-weighted pass. The Postal number 9 turned sharply and managed to get a shot away, but once again the effort went just wide.
Ac Millin continued to pose a threat from set pieces, with another corner arriving in the 17th minute. Giulianotti was alert to the danger and did well to clear the ball from the Postal penalty area.
The game settled into a competitive spell, with both teams battling for control in midfield. Postal won a corner in the 22nd minute and worked it back towards Wallace on the edge of the area. Wallace struck towards goal, but his effort disappeared into a crowd of players and failed to find its way through.
Ac Millin were awarded another corner in the 28th minute, and this time they created a much clearer opportunity. A free header was directed towards goal, but Graham produced an excellent save to keep the scores level and preserve Postal's clean sheet.
Postal continued to look for a breakthrough before half-time. In the 47th minute, Clark was presented with a free-kick opportunity, but his effort cleared the crossbar.
Despite plenty of endeavour from both sides, neither team could find the crucial opening goal before the interval.

The second half continued in much the same competitive fashion, with Postal gradually looking more dangerous as the game progressed.
In the 65th minute, a ball was played over the top of the AcMillin defence and Robb showed good pace to chase it down. He managed to get the ball into the box and looked to roll it across for a teammate, but an AcMillin defender recovered brilliantly to clear the danger.
Postal kept pushing, and in the 75th minute Hachi produced one of the moments of the match. Cutting inside, he unleashed a powerful drive from around 25 yards, forcing the AcMillin goalkeeper into a good save to keep the score at 0–0.
However, Postal's persistence finally paid off just a minute later.
Webster spotted Hachi's run and played a superb long ball forward. Hachi drove into the penalty area before delivering a dangerous cross. The ball struck an AcMillin defender's hand, leaving the referee with little option but to award a penalty.
Up stepped James Steele.
With the pressure on and the game finely poised, Steele kept his composure and confidently converted from the spot to finally give Postal the lead.

The goal changed the complexion of the match, with AcMillin now forced to chase an equaliser while Postal looked to protect their advantage.
The final stages became increasingly tense as Postal defended their narrow lead. AcMillin threw bodies forward in search of an equaliser, while Postal worked hard to prevent them from finding a way through.
Then, in the 90th minute, there was a huge moment of danger for Postal.
A free-kick was delivered into the penalty area and, amid the pressure, there was confusion between Veitch and Graham. The ball dropped dangerously close to the goal line and appeared destined to cause real problems, but Veitch reacted brilliantly to clear the ball away and prevent AcMillin from snatching a dramatic equaliser.
Postal saw out the remaining moments and the final whistle confirmed a valuable 1–0 victory.
It was not a match packed with goals, but it was a game that demanded patience, concentration and defensive resilience from Postal ALC. The team stayed in the contest, continued to create opportunities and eventually found the decisive moment through Steele's composed penalty.

Steele capped an excellent all-round performance by keeping his nerve from the penalty spot to score the only goal of the game. His decisive contribution ultimately proved enough to secure all three points for Postal ALC.
A clean sheet, a determined defensive display and a cool finish from the penalty spot ensured Postal left with a well-earned victory.
