Postal A.L.C. 0 - BSFC 2 - AAFA Div2 - Sat 9th May 2026

Postal welcomed BSFC to Webster Park for this division 2 league clash.  BSFC look odds on to complete a league and cup double this season so Postal would have to be at their best to repeat the dramatic Dickie Trophy victory earlier in the season.  With injuries and suspensions totting up Postal lined up as below:

1st min Postal started off on the offensive with a Russell shot flying over the bar.  4th min following a Postal corner, the ball drops to Stuart who again shoots over the bar. 

On the 11th min Postal should have taken the lead, McAuley hits the byline with great play and determination, his cross finds Stuart who heads wide from 6 yards. Great opportunity to take an early lead.

BSFC started to wam up and on the 14th min number 7 cuts in and but finds Cormack equal to his shot.

On the 20th min BSFC take a throw in on the Postal right hand side, number 10 finds space and sees his effort come off the post with the ball cleared for a BSFC corner.

BSFC were not applying pressure to the Postal back line, on the 21st min 9 through on goal on right but shoots over bar. 

Postal responded on the 23rd min.  Russell slipped a ball up the line to McAuley, playing the ball back to Russell the right back crosses and finds MacKenzie who sees his flick toward goal come back off the post. Great football.  

On the 23^rd min Ahmed slips in McAuley who shoots over.

BSFC would take the lead on the 25^th min, a throw down the Postal right hand side fell to number 7 who had time to pick out a cross to number 11 at the back post who in turn nodded the ball down to 10 who scored with ease.  Good play from BSFC but little pressure on the ball from Postal.

BSFC should have stretched their lead in the 33rd min as number 9 takes ball down, rounds Cormack but luckily for Postal runs out of pitch and the ball goes out for a goal kick.  

43^rd min BSFC take a corner and Ahmed hits his own cross back clearing the ball.

45th min freekick against Postal for handball. 10 puts it in top corner.

53rd min Jones into Mackenzie, slips in Ahmed. Ahmed rounds keeper and gives it to Russell who hits side netting with the empty goal gapping.

56th min Mackenize brought down wins a Postal free kick. Riddell crosses, Ahmed heads wide.

62nd min Mackenzie shots from the edge of the box.

70th min free kick. Riddell takes it, falls to Veitch who volleys over from 6 yards out.

75th min, BSFC number 4 has a drive wide of goal.

82nd min Postal corner falls to Veitch. Left foot shot goes over the bar. 

86th min Postal caught playing it out at the back. 10 shoots over the bar.

90th min Buggie red card for dissent

BSFC take the 3 points scoring while Postal cannot convert their chances.
